Located in the heart of the Old Town, this bright and airy apartment is all you could wish for in a holiday let, very close to gay establishments
It combines traditional features such as tommettes floor tiles, white-wash walls and green slated shutters (made to good use to screen the abundant afternoon sunshine) with simple yet contemporary furniture.
The living area with open-plan kitchen contains a fab 50's style Smeg fridge and modern appliances including a Nespresso coffee maker. There's a huge off-white sofa that easily unfolds into a double bed and a set of faux-leather coffee tables. An LCD Samsung TV and Bose I-pod dock and Moroccan blankets and accessories complete the trendy look. The bedroom has a double bed, a clothing rail with storage for luggage and shirt holder, and a Japanese-style bedside lamp.
The separate bathroom is kept simple with a wall-mounted sink, shower cubicle with mosaic tiles and toilet. Meander through the narrow streets or flip-flop your way to the beach in 3 minutes. With a plethora of markets, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants at your doorstep (not least on the nearby Cours Saleya) you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to food and drink.
The port area with its antique dealers, flea market, and ethnic eateries is also a short stroll away, as are the revamped place Massena and the upmarket stores of the pedestrian district.
