Arrival by train

There are six train stations in Paris: Gare du Nord- arrivals from London (Eurostar), Belgium and the Netherlands (Thalys), Gare de l’Est- arrivals from eastern France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, Gare d’Austerlitz- arrivals from south-western France, Spain and Portugal, Gare de Lyon- arrivals from the south of France, the Alps, Italy or Greece, Gare Montparnasse- arrivals from Bretagne and western France, Gare St-Lazare- arrivals from Normandy.

All of these stations are within central Paris. Taxis are available upon arrival to take you to your apartment, normally a 10-minute journey. In addition, all train stations are connected to the Paris metro system which has stops throughout the city.
